Peter is great - but, the venus is simply majestic. A wide-open field and mountains views, with a backdrop of Peter's modern dairy barn was the perfect setting for our wedding. We highly recommend him!
Beautiful spot for a wedding, temperature control is definitely a challenge given that it's a barn.
Owner was rude and resentful. I would not recommend.

Senic location for events. There are plenty of barns to rent for weddings in Vermont but the Skinner barn provides extremely knowledgeable (obsessive?) assistance with planning and coordination - the owners live, breathe and dream weddings when they are not running theatre events in the restored (but not over-polished) open barn . I have only attended one wedding there, but was thoroughly impressed with how smoothly the event was run.
