Our host, Luc, welcomed us with tea and cookies. He even upgraded our rooms. The bed was the most comfortable hotel/inn bed that I have ever had. The living room area was furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs. There were many brochures, maps and books provided to help with our itinerary. Most of all, I wish to compliment our breakfast chef and innkeeper, Luc, for a delicious and beautifully presented breakfast each morning. Mary
I agree with all of the above. We felt very welcome and felt at home right away. After horseback riding we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub on the porch. The flower beds added to the enjoyment of this beautiful friendly place. Beth

Agree with all the reviews here. Def a hidden gem in Mad River Valley. Luc's hospitality is unmatched, he cooks some of the best breakfast ever! Rooms are very cozy, quiet, and very well maintained. My fiance and I spent a weekend here and felt right at home. Luc was very welcoming. Def will have to make a trip here again!
The full name of the Mad River Inn is "the Mad River Pet Inn". It is a veterinary clinic and pet boarding place. Doctor Anderson is great and the staff is friendly!
