My husband and I recently stayed at the Yellow Farmhouse. This was our second visit. Mike and Sandra are friendly, warm, and welcoming. They run a beautiful, well maintained Inn. The rooms are recently updated, comfortable and very clean. The setting in the hills provide awesome views and plenty of opportunity to relax. I can't say enough about the delicious breakfasts and yummy cookies! Location is perfectly situated in the middle of the state so you can travel in any direction and still return to the Inn at the end of the day. If you are looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable and welcoming place to stay, I definitely recommend the Yellow Farmehouse!
My wife and I have been having a wonderful time here for our 10 year anniversary. Mike and Sandra are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent, and a dangerously delicious plate of cookies is always available. The house is old, with a lot of character, but everything is clean and modern. Some B&Bs turn me off with excessively frilly, ornate decor, but The Yellow Farmhouse is comforting and inviting. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
Great breakfast and great location! We stayed here for a ski weekend (4 days) and had a great time. It snowed a foot one day and we walked to town to have dinner. I would highly recommend staying at the yellow farmhouse inn, it was recently renovated but is still gorgeous.
I've spent 3 days here with my wife and I've had a great time. Very peaceful place and it felt like a home away from home. Breakfasts were very good and not to mention the cookies that were baked fresh daily! The whole experience was just great and I can't wait to go back there again.
We have spent long weekends in the summer and long weekends in the winter -- as well as Christmas and New Years. And every time we enter their door and take off our boots we find ourselves immediately relaxed with a big sigh!! The warm, cozy, inviting atmosphere is like coming home. Afternoon homemade snacks and tea or hot chocolate are waiting and the innkeeper ,Mike is there to answer any questions. He immediately makes you feel welcome with his witty good humor. We always stay in the same room but every room is very special with it's own personality. Most have fireplace stoves and jacuzzi tubs. Plus the beds are incredibly comfortable. And Sandra's breakfast is amazing.There are not enough words to describe this place. All I know is that there is no other B&B anywhere around that could compare to The Yellow Farmhouse. If you are in the area -- this is the place to stay.
